Jeff Charnel named a "40 Under 40" by the Boston Business Journal
We are proud to announce that Jeff Charnel, Vice President Commercial Banking, has been named a “40 Under 40” by the Boston Business Journal.
The annual awards celebrate 40 of the most accomplished young professionals in the Boston area. The honorees are recognized for their achievements, innovation, and leadership across a wide range of industries.
Charnel, who has nearly 20 years of experience in both commercial and community banking, joined Mutual Bank in 2017 as a Commercial Lender and has been with North Easton Savings Bank since its merger with Mutual Bank in 2019.
A lifelong resident of Brockton, Charnel holds a degree in Applied Science, Accounting from Newbury College and furthered his industry education at the New England School for Financial Studies.
In addition to his leadership role at North Easton Savings Bank, Charnel contributes to the Brockton community through several key positions: he serves as chairman of the City of Brockton’s License Commission, is a member of the Old Colony YMCA Brockton Board of Governors, and sits on the NeighborWorks Housing Solutions Board of Directors. He is a member of the Old Colony Planning Council, on the South Shore Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and serves on the Board of Trustees of New Heights Academy Charter School.
