In her role as Chief Commercial Banking Officer, Ms. Adams is responsible for the overall management of the Bank’s Commercial Banking department, which includes leading a growing team of Commercial and Small Business Banking experts. Ms. Adams is at the helm of a growing and successful business unit, injecting her expertise into new and existing relationships as appropriate.
Throughout her career, Cate has been passionate about working at mutually owned banks and using their community first ethos to develop long-standing partnerships with businesses of all sizes.
As a passionate supporter of local communities, Cate has been actively involved in several nonprofit organizations. She volunteers with the Duxbury Beach Reservation, and has previously served on the Board of Directors at South Shore Chamber of Commerce, South Shore Stars and acted as Treasurer for the Duxbury Student Union.
A graduate of Bridgewater State University, Ms. Adams continued her education at the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking along with participating in the Wharton Leadership Program, Banking and Financial Support Services at the Wharton School.
A resident of Duxbury, Massachusetts, Ms. Adams has extensive prior experience leading commercial banking teams, helping local and regional businesses thrive, and building dynamic, high-impact relationship banking teams.
