To North Easton Savings Bank customers and friends,

As we all receive updates from many sources with concerning news of the Coronavirus event, I want to assure you that North Easton Savings Bank and all our hard-working employees continue to be on the job for you, and we will continue to fulfill our commitment to you to deliver secure, reliable banking services and provide a safe, fully insured haven for your money.

I would like to share with you some of the positive steps we have taken to contribute to the well-being of our customers, employees, and our local communities.

This week, we made the decision to temporarily limit our branch service to drive-up and by-appointment-only. We took this pro-active step for the safety of our banking customers and our employees, and to do our part to help slow the spread of coronavirus. The initial response from customers such as you, has been positive, and we appreciate your courage and patience.  Our Call Center team is ready to help you learn about alternative banking tools we offer, including online and mobile banking, mobile deposit, full-service ATMs, and 24/7 automated telephone banking.

For our current loan relationships, we have been working diligently to provide relief loan payment options for those in need.  Options available will depend on the type of loan you have. Details are forthcoming in a subsequent announcement. 

Additionally, we have activated our Incident Response Plan measures for social distancing best practices, including reorganizing office spaces, work-from-home, and transitioning to meetings by video or teleconference. We have additional and intensive cleaning services, especially for those high touch areas.

Our bank is financially stronger than ever, with great resources and a strong capital position to meet this challenge with confidence. We are especially proud to tell you that the deposits you have entrusted to us are 100% insured. Each depositor’s funds are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to at least $250,000. In addition, deposits over and above that amount are insured by the Depositors Insurance Fund (DIF). This powerful combination of insurance provides a unique protection from loss that you can take comfort in, during this and any economic environment. We invite you to learn more at FDIC and DIF.
